Christian Hobbs was someone who brought people together - he was the very definition of a true friend to our son George and to many others. 

He died, totally unexpectedly and because of an undiagnosed heart condition, on Boxing Day 2017, and is dreadfully missed by all the people who knew and loved him.  His parents, Caspar and Louise, and his sister Isobel, have been unrelentingly positive and exceptional since his death.  Their goal is to help create a state of the art Boxing facility for the Heart of England Boxing Club.  

Boxing was Christian’s absolute passion — he used to complete his Prep in super speedy time in order to nip away from Rugby School to his club, where he was hugely popular and highly driven.  

This is our very small contribution to the fundraising effort.  Training started well in January....but work travel and Middle Age have meant that we are not the finely honed athletes we should be.  We will be walking 63 miles in 2 and a half days.  For us it will be a triumph of determination and heavy investment in products from Compeed, rather than elite fitness.
