In the early months of 2023, I experienced a profound shift in my perspective as I became a father to a beautiful daughter. The overwhelming sense of responsibility and love that accompanies parenthood ignited a passion within me—a determination to ensure that my child grows up in a world filled with safety, love, and opportunity.

As I embraced the joys of parenthood, I couldn't help but reflect on the stark reality that not all children and young people are fortunate enough to enjoy the same privileges. The sobering truth is that many face the harsh challenges of exploitation, neglect, and abuse. The contrast between the warmth of my daughter's bedroom and the harsh realities some children endure compelled me to take action.

As we approach 2024, I have made a heartfelt commitment to complete an 8-week fighting preparation camp with White Colour Boxing to make a small but impactful contribution to The Children's Society. The decision to advocate for the well-being of all children and young people stems from the belief that every child deserves a chance to thrive, regardless of their circumstances.

In the coming year, my resolution is clear: to speak up and be a fighting a voice for those who may not have the opportunity to be heard. I aim to raise awareness about the challenges faced by vulnerable children and young people and to contribute, in whatever small way I can, to the mission of creating a safer and more nurturing environment for them.

In collaboration with The Children's Society and other like-minded individuals, my goal is to support initiatives that provide adequate resources, protection, and opportunities for those who need it most. Whether through volunteering, fundraising, or community engagement, I am committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children and young people who deserve a chance at a brighter future in and around the ring pre-during and post my fighting preparation camp!

As a new parent, the desire to protect and nurture extends beyond the walls of my own home. It encompasses a broader vision of a world where every child can grow up feeling safe, loved, and hopeful. In joining the fight against the future, I hope you can contribute to a collective effort that ensures that no child is left behind.
