Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.Fundraising is hugely important to Macmillan.

Sadly as we go through our lives we either directly or indirectly come into contact with cancer. Many of us may face this journey alone not knowing what the future may hold. Thankfully we have charities like Macmillan who are funded by fundraisers, whilst they are a national charity they retain a local bespoke approach that support families along such an emotional pathway.

I believe despite often the negativity that consumes our modern world, there are good people, who have good intentions, who will outreach further than their own families to help others. That basic human instinct is within us all and I would like to harness that spirit and take you on a journey whereby together we can make a difference and provide a platform for 'hope'.

In 2018 our events so far are:

March 16th - 25th Twitter football shirt Auction for ex England & Leeds United footballer, Tony Dorigo

March 31st - April 08th Twitter football shirt auction for ex England & Leeds United footballer, Brian Deane

May 26th - Ironman Lanzarote  - Mark Kilner, Eddie Howarth, Phil Wilson & Chris Wray

May 27th - Yorkshire Beast Sportive. 200 miles and 14,750 ft of climbing - Martin Stoney & Steve Corcoran
