I began a small business for this summer called Fika Club. I have been selling cold brew coffee + sweat treats from my cargo bike along Worthing seafront every (not too windy, sunny) weekend!

Fika Club is a plastic free champion and trying to make the business as environmentally responsible as possible, with Carbon Neutral coffee+milk, circular economy uniform, plant based compostable vegware cups (including a collection point for used cups), 1% of sales going to the Sussex Wildlife trust and a 5p "cup tax" going to 2MinuteBeach Clean to encourage the use of re-usable cups. 

As the interest and response to fundraising through the single use cup tax has been really positive over the summer, we've been inspired to further encourage local businesses and the public to get involved and help protect our beautiful stretch of coastline.

SideOut Worthing and Coast have been generous in providing Volleyball taster sessions, which includes 30 minutes of coaching and game play on their sand courts down in Worthing.

We're asking for a £5 donation for a volleyball taster session, which goes to the charity 2 Minute Foundation.

2 Minute Beach Clean believe that simple acts can add up to make a big difference, that doing something positive is infinitely better than doing nothing, and that it is positivity, people and passion that will change our world for the better.

Their aim is to see a world without plastic litter and pollution, to inspire and enable people to change the way they interact with outdoor spaces.

And we want to help! We would love to reach our target of £500, which would buy a litter picking station for the East Worthing Beach area.

If we end up making more, these funds will go towards a Guardian Angel (who is a 2 minute advocate, run cleans and educate)
