At personal level I am running for my dad , aunties, mother in law and others who lived or are living with dementia across continents. Working for Alzheimers Society makes me feel closer to them everyday.

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice. Throughout the month of June the finance team will collectively be taking on 1 meter for every person in the UK living with dementia. This will be 900,000m or 900km/559miles we need to cover as a team throughout the month of June. The funds raised will go towards providing vital support for those living with dementia, £2000 will provide a whopping 128.5 hours of dementia advisor support! Together we are help and hope for everyone living with dementia.
