Story

Hello all,

Welcome to team FK's Just Giving page.

I have put together a team of elite athletes to take part in this year's Oxford Half Marathon. When I say elite what I really mean is that 13 incredibly brave individuals have agreed to take this challenge with most having never run a half marathon in their lives. For those who have achieved this feat I am sure you will agree that they all deserve huge credit.

But credit is not what we need! We need all of you beautiful people out there to dig deep (or alternatively just dig!) and donate to this fantastic charity as detailed below.

Katharine House Hospice

Katharine House supports people facing life-limiting illnesses across North Oxfordshire, South Northamptonshire and South Warwickshire. Every week they care for around 300 people in their homes, in care homes, at the hospice or in the hospital. They provide the individualised care people need, where they need it and when they need it.

We need you again folks. We like to save our charity push for the toughest of challenges and this is one of them.  As is ever the case, the size of your donation is not important. It is only important that you donated something.

On a serious note and with the utmost sincerity we thank you all that have donated in the past and thank you if you simply took the time to read this. We wont lie, we do want donations and we appreciate that charity never stops but we do believe that if you do good things for others, then good things will be done for you!

Failing all else, do it for my poor team of not so willing runners who will be in undoubted pain during and for a considerable amount of time, after this race has been run!!!.

Your support appreciated as ever.
