Finding My Strength Launch · 26 July 2017

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Finding My Strength Story and Legacy

Chuckie, is Laura's right stump. she met him in 2014 after an above right knee amputation.

Laura not knowing what to do with herself for three months after the operation was asked to perform at an event which inspired her to dance again. Later that year she asked a friend, Junior Williams to collaborate and write a song for this dance piece to develop it and it was performed at Sadler's Wells Lilian Baylis Studio for Equals Dance (November 2015) and Equation Dance (March 2015), celebrating disabled artists in Dance.

The Track name is Finding My Strength by Junior Williams and Simon Kusnierek aka JK featuring Laura Dajao

In 2017, after dancing for other companies decided to revisit the song and started developing a new solo piece after being inspired even more by it. And finally after years of it being made it looks like she'll release it in December 2017!

This page is for those who support her cause; Giving back to the MS Society UK who have been able to be there and support her through her dance career and personal health tribulations.
