FiND is a charity which helps people with severe learning disabilities and autism of all ages access care and support. FiND attempts to improve the life skills of the people it works with, by supporting them to be more independent. The services it provides are highly specialised, and have a huge impact on the quality of life for not just the people FiND works with, but their families as well.

FiND works closely with families to provide year-round person-centred day care and an evening social club to help its students achieve their potential

FiND was set up as a result of parents (including Lesley) who could not find the support they needed to give their children the best life possible. It now supports people of all ages.

Funding this charity in order to keep supporting the fantastic work it does is  vital - and that is why Lesley has roped in the extended Nicholson family into running a Marathon!

Jo "The Giraffe" Nicholson, Steve "The Snail" Parks, Kate "Hermes" Parks, Matt "The Speed Demon" Davies, Tony "The BFG" Nicholson and last but by no means least Lesley "The Power" Nicholson will each run a section of the course in order to raise money for a charity that we all have a close personal connection to. Trust me - no way we'd be running if we didn't genuinely love this charity!
