Dementia is the leading cause of death in the UK, yet it is severely underfunded.

2 years ago my Mum was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, it is the most cruel and heartbreaking disease and the World desperately needs a cure.

The Alzheimer's Society have helped us all, especially my Dad who now cares for my Mum. They help with everything from advice in getting the right care and funding to even just being on the other end of the phone to listen.

Along with my brother and sister in law I have pulled together a campaign to raise £100,000 for the charity.

My brother is an award winning film maker and has shot an amazing music video. My sister in law Shelly has a beautiful voice and has also featured on the song with me. We have created a strong family project which has given us all something positive to focus on.

Also featuring on the song are the amazing London Welsh Male Voice Choir. They have added an amazing lift and I’m so humbled to have them in the track.

By day I am a Whisky Ambassador but in a previous life I had a music career as a singer songwriter and fronted several bands.I have been fortunate to play all over the World and have worked with some great artists.

I wrote a song at the start of the first lockdown in 2020 with a really talented artist called Lauren L'aimant. Our live version of song had over 500,000 views and we received messages from thousands of  people around the World, thanking us and telling us what the song meant to them.

The last time I release any music was 10 years ago and I honestly didn't think I would ever release anything again.

But music really touches people and I knew I could do more good with this song.

I'm releasing the song called 'Find Yourself' and I will be giving the profits from sales and streams to the Alzheimer's Society until we reach our target.

The image of the baby is my Mum sitting outside her house in the Welsh Valleys, which is the same place we shot the music video.

I have recorded most of it in my home studio and co produced it with Sam Cramer  (Future Humans) at Thirteen Studios in Notting Hill (Damon Albarn, The Gorrillaz)
