During the pandemic Captain Tom stepped up to support the NHS Covid-19 by taking on his famous walk and inspiring millions to donate. We are offering the chance to raise funds in the spirit of Captain Tom for the charity of your choice.

Story

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a catastrophic effect on charities, with the cancellation of thousands of events and the loss of billions in income. At a time when vulnerable members of society need them most, charities have had to cut services, furlough staff and some have even shut down. Captain Tom stepped up to help, taking on his famous walk to support the NHS Covid-19 appeal and inspiring millions to donate to the cause. We will be celebrating the extraordinary spirit of Captain Tom our way and help our chosen charity.

Finley (age 6) and I talked about this incredible challenge and what we could do to raise money and further support a local charity that we already support. Captain Tom was a true inspiration!

Finley loves riding his bike and so we have decided for our '100 challenge"  to ride 100 laps around our local park. I think its probably roughly the size of a 400m running track which would equate to about 25 miles ( assuming my maths is correct😃)

If anyone would like to support us with our challenge, we would really appreciate it and say thank you in advance.

If any of Finley's friends would like to ride a few laps with him, please let me know and I will confirm the weekend dates.

We will keep you updated on our progress xx

Love

Kirsty and Finley
