The Very Hungry Caterpillar presents The Giant Wiggle. Hold a play day at home with your little ones anytime between May and August. Little feet really can make a big difference. How? By wiggling, crafting and raising money for Action for Children.

Story

This year we were hoping to take part in the Great Wiggle Sponsored Walk for Action for Children. However due to Covid19 the walk was cancelled and instead children have been encouraged to raise money in different ways to help a brilliant cause.

Action for Children is is a fantastic charity that helps vulnerable children across the UK have a safe and happy childhood. Therefore to do our bit, Finley is going to still complete his walk, he will be walking 5k over 5 days (25th - 29th May)! Finley loves being outside and is a fan of walks but this is a big challenge for his little legs. Infact we worked out it was 31,000 of Finley's steps!

So, why are we doing it? Finley is able, each day, to enjoy 3 good meals, he has a warm home and goes to bed each night knowing he is safe and loved. This is what we hope for every 3 year old, but sadly for some this just isnt the case. We would like to raise £100, this amount could pay for 75 hungry children to have a nutritious meal at an Action for Children breakfast club. An amazing reason to walk each day.

We would be really grateful for any donations, however small, to help us reach this goal. And of course we will update with photos during Finley's Great Wiggle Walk.
