Finn donates his locks · 3 October 2019

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

Finn was recently diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, and due to his chemotherapy will lose his hair. He decided to crop the locks before he loses it, so someone else could potentially benefit from it, should they be in a similar position and opt for a wig.

Teenage Cancer Trust have already provided so much, a unit on the Oncology ward at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Edinburgh, where Finn gets his treatment - it means he doesnt have to be surrounded by Mickey Mouse, Octonauts and Tinkerbell (which is fab for the smaller kids on the ward). Also, we have had wonderful support in Conor, the TCT support guy at the unit, who has already gone beyond expectations.

If you can spare the price of a cappuncino to support Finn, he'd be delighted and grateful. He wants to turn this situation we find ourselves in into something positive.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Many, many thanks to all.
