Story

This is Finnleys first fundraiser. As you can imagine , for an 8/9 year old boy with long blonde hair it has it challenges. However, He has always remained focused to reach his end goal and help the lives of children who are seriously unwell that little bit easier and even more beautiful! Any help and support you can give him is greatly appreciated. He is aiming to raise as much money as he can - The dedication of keeping his hair long,  hair washing ,drying ( which for a boy he says is no fun) ! Lets see how much can be raised for this amazing charity

Finnley says:

My name is Finnley and I am 9 years old. I have been growing my hair since I was 7 1/2 , nearly 8 and will keep going until its long enough to make a wig for children who have cancer and lose their hair. I get mistaken for a girl ALOT but I don't actually mind as I know when its long enough it will be going to a good cause and I really, really want to raise as much money as possible for The Little Princess Trust!!!  The trust makes wigs for children  so they can keep looking even more beautiful and still feel good.

When I made the decision....

I saw a programme about children who have cancer and then watched a some videos on YouTube about what they had to go through. I also saw that  a boy who did the same thing with growing his hair and was then sadly  diagnosed with cancer himself behind his eye.Really sad :( . I felt really upset for him and for all the other the little girls who lose their hair because of cancer treatment and other illnesses.I told my mum i wanted to grow my hair to donate it too.I decided just before my 8th birthday that I would keep growing my hair and that bring me to now and by the end, it will be long enough to send to the charity. To buy a wig it costs a lot of money ( £300-£400) that is why I want my hair to go to a child who’s family may not be able to afford this.

Please help me raise money for children to have better lives while they are not well, I want my hair to make  wig to make them feel happier!!

Take a look at my photos below showing my progress, I will keep adding to them.
