On Wednesday 23rd March the boys of JDN will be running the Eton College Steeplechase in order to raise money for Allegra’s Ambition.

B&C blocks will run 7.5 miles (12.1 km)

D&E blocks will run 4.4 miles (7.1 km)

F block will run 3.3 miles (5.2 km)

Allegra’s Ambition was set up by Ashley and Lucy Whittome after their daughter Allegra died suddenly and completely unexpectedly sixteen days after her 16th birthday. The ambition of this charity is to help other young people through participation in sport and outdoor activities to develop similar positive behaviours and values to enhance their lives – and be happier people. Like Allegra. It is a charity close to the boys in JDN as not only is everyone in the house involved in some form of sport or outdoor activity but Allegra’s two brothers are both JDN students of past and current vintage.
