BIRT (Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust) have a specialist unit in Glasgow called Graham Anderson House, which specialises in the rehabilitation of people who are experiencing behavioural disorders following a brain injury. Brain Injury is acquired either by sustaining a blow to the head, concussion or by haemorrhage/stroke or tumour.

As you may know back in May 2016, I suffered a brain haemorrhage and after surgery and fabulous care at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, I was very fortunate to make a great recovery. That was until May 2017 when I experienced a seizure followed by another in July.  I have been on mediation since then and have been doing really well.

In fact, so well that I am taking on the West Highland Way on 2nd June from Glasgow to Fort William (a wee 100 mile stroll) over 6 days with a group of friends.  

As I have been one of the lucky ones I would like to do this in support of BIRT to help others not as fortunate as myself. Please help me to reach my target. All donations would be gratefully received.
