Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

Thanks for visiting my page.

Between 31st May and 4th June, my Dad and I will embark on the 170 mile journey from Morecambe to Bridlington together.  It will be a challenging but truly wonderful experience to share together.

My Dad is a very special man who has had his fair share of heart problems.  He remains a keen cyclist and some of my fondest childhood memories are of bike rides together around Rutland Water, on the Tissington Trail or following the Marathon route in London.  It's a while since I joined him for a ride and given the length of this one I thought I would like to raise money for a charity dear to both of our hearts.

I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation's research and I'd be so grateful for your support. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks!
