Great North Run 2015 · 13 September 2015 ·

The Great North Air Ambulance Service keeps families together by saving lives. We provide critical care 365 days a year to the people of the North East, North Yorkshire, Cumbria and the Isle of Man.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

A group of over 40 staff and students from my school, Ponteland High, are running in memory of a lovely former student, Rachel, who sadly died last summer, just before she was due to run the GNR.

Those who know me might be surprised as I have never 'done' fitness!! I am enjoying training and can't think of better inspiration to complete this North East 'bucket list' challenge! Who knows, it may be just a start...?!

The Great North Air Ambulance is an invaluable paramedic service, especially in rural and remote Cumbria and Northumberland,  but is entirely self-funded. Please give generously to this crucial charity.

Thank you
