3, 2, 1 JUMP!

In August I will be doing a skydive, jumping from the plane at 15,000ft. This is totally out of my comfort zone but it's the least that I can do for such a good cause.

I'm raising awareness and funds for Derian House Children's Hospice. A place that provides support to families with terminally ill children, care and respite for children with life-limiting or life-shortening conditions. Beyond that, they've also created special spaces like their sunflower rooms and offer bereavement support to families.

Back in December, our closest family friends lost their little boy after a cruel battle with leukemia and then covid. Rory was 2 years old.

No family should ever have to find themselves in such a devastating situation. But for those who are going through this, Derian House is incredible and we want to share the message so more people know the support available to them. To provide their services it costs them almost £5m per year, with only 12% of this coming from any statutory sources. The charity have to find the remaining 88% to keep their doors open.
