Zip Line Challenge: Dare to Fly · 27 April 2019

Over 100,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Hi I am Fiona and thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have been living with MS for 13 years and 3 years ago I couldn't walk, talk or get my limbs to do what I wanted! I was diagnosed with a rare form of MS, called Tumefactive MS, which causes symptoms like a stroke or brain tumour. I had to learn to walk again, talk again (which is my favourite thing to do!).

My journey felt like a long one and I am still not the woman I was. With help from the Dr's, Physios, MS nurses to speech therapists, I have come far in the last 3 years. Now is my opportunity to give something back by raising awareness and money for the MS Society, who were there for me and my family though such a difficult time.

This is the first time I have felt ready to take on such a huge challenge and I thank you all for your continued support.
