My American grandmother suffered from Alzheimer's and died when I was 7 years old. She was not quite 62. This dreadful disease was not very well understood in those days but now, thanks to wonderful organisations such as Alzheimer's Support, those effected by Alzheimer's and their families  can live happier and more constructive lives. The clubs in Devizes and Trowbridge are two of the jolliest places I know and the staff there are making a real difference through laughter, music, games, crafts and a great deal of love, not forgetting the two most beautiful whippet pat dogs.
