I hope to complete Braveheart Triathlon. A half Ironman distance event with a 1.9km swim in the sea, 90km bike and a half marathon up and down the epic mountain Ben Nevis.  

Training has been challenging but a huge part of my coping mechanism. Approaching my tapper, injury free and ready to have a bit of fun. 

The Maurer family have had a bit of a difficult summer with lots of hospital stays for Emily as she received excellent care from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for her tumour. Our family and friend support has been amazing as always. One charity that we couldn’t have done without The Mungo Foundation. They have provided love and support for Ethan. It’s a local charity with a beautiful house in Bishopbriggs that provides support for local children with disabilities and their families. We had peace of mind that he was in a safe and loving environment when we needed to be with Emily. Please help us show our appreciation by donating to help them continue to offer support.
