Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My mum died very suddenly of pancreatic cancer back in October 2013, less than 4 months after being diagnosed with the terminal illness.  She spent most of that time between hospitals in Glasgow, receiving some great care  from the nursing staff at the Glasgow Beatson.

However, my mum wasn't able to get emotional or counselling support the weekend she died, as no one from Macmillan or friends of the Beatson were available. I know Macmillan do a fab job, and I'm hoping that by raising funds, others in a similar situation will gain the vital support  and someone to talk to when they need it.
