Story

Too many young people die too soon.

In my 30 years, for very different reasons, I have experienced this twice, loosing the 2 people closest to me (my boyfriend, Andrew and my sister, Natalie).

So this year on the eve of my 30th birthday I will be cycling 302km (the equivalent of Manchester to London) to raise awareness of all those young people who have been taken too soon.

I am raising awareness and also hopefully some funds for 2 charities in memory of both Andrew and Natalie.

For Natalie I am supporting the NATALIE KATE MOSS TRUST, set up in natalies memory working with Manchester University to support the research into the prevention of brain haemorrhages.

For Andrew I am supporting TREKSTOCK who supports young people with cancer. Whilst there are cancer charities for older adults and children, for anyone who suffers from cancer in their 20s there is a huge gap. TREKSTOCK is trying to fill this gap by offering young adults support physically and socially, through their diagnosis and beyond.

If you wish to support TREKSTOCK please visit the page.

About the charity

The Natalie Kate Moss Trust was setup in 2012 by the Moss family after the sudden death of Natalie from a brain haemorrhage. With only 3 out of 5 people surviving a brain haemorrhage within one month, the trust is on a mission to prevent and treat as many brain haemorrhages as possible.
