Those walking boots will be getting a pounding again as I have signed up to take part in another challenge but instead of heading west to Peru, I'm heading east to the Great Wall of China in October 2011 to raise money for The Christie Hospital, Manchester and Elise for Life.  Elise was a colleague of a friend of mine and was recently diagnosed with cancer and who, after numerous treatments, lost the fight whilst living in the Christie Hospital on 3rd October 2010.  I'm inspired by Elise and her husband Mark, who is organising a series of events to raise funds. We all know too many people who have been affected by this cruel disease so I hope you will be able to help me reach my target.   In our family alone, my Sister in Law died of ovarian cancer very young, my Mum has had breast cancer and my Mother in Law has had bowel cancer.
