Story
Just under 2 years ago I lost my wonderful nana to pancreatic cancer within 12 weeks of diagnosis. I thought long and hard about what would be a fitting tribute to her and decided that raising money to help fund research and care to others in need would make her very proud.
So, why a marathon?!....good question. Most of you that know me, know that I am a games player at heart and so the thought of running 26 miles is overwhelming. You will also know however that I am very competitive and so when I found out that only 1% of the worlds population will ever complete a marathon I decided I'd very much like to join that club, that and being inspired by watching the finishers of London and Brighton marathons last year.

Over the past few years I said goodbye to my wonderful nana due to this awful disease, watched a good friend lose his mum and had my first teaching mentor lose his long battle. Please donate as much as you feel you are able, as any donation can make a huge difference.
