Story
In June last year my brother, Craig was diagnosed with Mesothelioma. Mesothelioma is an incurable cancer that affects the lining of the lung and is almost always associated with exposure to asbestos. When Craig received his diagnosis he was allocated a dedicated mesothelioma nurse who has provided, and will continue to provide, invaluable medical, emotional and practical support to Craig. Although his nurse works within the NHS, her role is funded by Action on Asbestos. Action on Asbestos provide their services free of charge to anyone in Scotland diagnosed with an asbestos related disease in order to support the individual and their family but they are entirely reliant on donations to continue their fantastic work. I want to help raise as much money as possible for this very special cause which has provided so much support to Craig in this difficult time.
