I did it! What a great day, the conditions were fantastic - light winds and dry but not too hot. I really enjoyed the cycle which took 2hrs 10, then I paddled the loch in 2hrs 7 - the second half of which was tough going. Finally, the run - what a killer! Completed it in 1hr 49 but was practically crawling by the end.....So total time was 6 hrs 7 mins!

70 Wild Miles is a triathlon consisting of a 47 mile cycle from Glencoe to Taynuilt, a 10 mile kayak along Loch Etive and a 13 mile run UP Glen Etive.

Why am I doing it? To see if I can (because I'm nearly 40!) and to raise money for Clic Sargent. A friend's child was diagnosed with leukaemia 2 years ago and Clic Sargent has been incredibly helpful to the whole family.
