Story
The Cardiff Fire team and supporters are taking part in the #FireItUp for February running challenge raising funds to support the mental health charity Mind.
Throughout the month of February we will be running individually as part of our exercise and fundraising challenge to raise money for better mental health. We have set a team target of 500km to complete over the month (that's about 311 miles), with an individual target of 42km – roughly the distance of a marathon.
Update: We have smashed our initial target of 500km and we are now aiming for 1,000km - A full virtual tour of the ice arenas in the South as we run the rinks!
🎽 Raising funds for Mind
This winter is tougher than many we’ve faced before and your support is needed more than ever to help make sure no one faces a mental health problem alone. All the money donated to this fundraiser goes straight to the mental health charity Mind and your money will help support the vital work they do to help people in crisis, especially during the pandemic.
