The Fire Fighters Charity offers specialist lifelong health & wellbeing support for the UK fire & rescue community, empowering individuals and families to achieve mental, physical and social wellbeing throughout their lives. This includes serving and retired firefighters, control and support teams.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to support our fundraising efforts for the Firefighters Charity.

We are the 22 latest Humberside Fire and Rescue Service recruits. We are currently on week 14 of our training course based at Immingham and are already trying to give back to
a charity which may support us in the future.

We are planning to ‘cycle’ the distance between Humberside FRS Headquarters and Parliament Square in London without ever leaving Hull!. The 198 miles will be covered in 20 minute
stints by recruits in turn wearing full fire kit.

The event will be taking place at St Stephens Shopping Centre in Hull. We will be set up at the Ferensway end outside Hugh Rice jewellers on Sunday 5th November from 10:30am
 - 4:00pm.

The Firefighters Charity supports current or retired firefighters and their families who are injured, ill or in need of psychological support to come to terms with the life
and death situations which firefighters face on a daily basis. They exist to support firefighters across the country.
