I did it!! Day 4️⃣ The Final leg 73.7 Miles 🇫🇷Lons-Le-Saunier ➡️ 🇨🇭Geneva!! ⛰🚴🏼♀️💨6483ft climbed..Yes there were some BIG climbs 😳😅 I’m sooo proud of myself ☺️ It’s been a mental and physical challenge to get back on the bike each day for 8hours, but one that I’ve loved every second of (my 🍑 not so much!😅) and I’ve met some awesome people through doing it 🧡 ➡️Today the ⛰hills started from mile 1!! 😳 🚵🏼♀️.. throughout the 73mile ride, the longest climbs were: •x2 11km •x1 18.6km & a final burner of •x1 7.2km ⚠️ #craziness #determination was key! The stunning scenery, birds of prey soaring high in the sky and chatting to my fellow riders made it an enjoyable experience 🙌🏼 #congratulationsteam Here’s to a big meal 😋 and some drinks to celebrate 🎊 I think we’ve earned it! 🙌🏼 It’s official... I’ve signed myself up to cycle from 🇫🇷Paris to 🇨🇭Geneva this September 🚴🏼♀️💨, it’s a pretty big challenge, but I’m really excited to start training and raise as much money as I can for The Firefighters Charity.
🔥The Firefighters Charity is almost entirely funded through donations from the public & fire community.
👣They have supported me in the past, providing invaluable physiotherapy and rehabilitation for my chronic plantar fasciitis. For this reason I’d like to give something back 🤲🏼 & help raise some money for them...
🚴🏼♀️The cycle ride route will total approximately 330 miles over 4days..! with lots of hill climbs and hair-pin bends, including some of the famous 🇫🇷 Tour de France climbs, finally reaching the peak of Col de la Faucille ⛰ (1323m) mid way on the final day! I'm sure the varying landscapes and mountainous views will be breath-taking (literally!)🚵🏼♀️👌🏽
