Every year, Fisher German supports a charity nominated by employees, in the hope we may have a positive impact on their fundraising initiative and help raise awareness of the astounding work they do.

This year we are delighted to be partnering with Re-engage (formerly Contact the Elderly) to help them tackle loneliness and social isolation among older people living in the United Kingdom. With a focus on care, conversation and a cup of tea, Re-engage is helping thousands of people aged over 75 to find friendship again with the support of 11,000 volunteers, by organising monthly tea parties with small groups. These social events bring local people together and replicate the hospitality they would receive if they had a friend or family member nearby.

Throughout the year, Fisher German colleagues will embark on a number of fundraising activities, from charity raffles to bake sales and sponsored feats to raise money in aid of the charity. We hope to raise as much as £9,000 for the charity over 12 months, as well as seeking opportunities to volunteer at the charity’s monthly events.
