On Friday the 18th of March we will be running our first post pandemic charity event!!

From Friday at 10am we will be running a 45 minute class every hour for 24 hours! Every class will be totally FREE we just ask you to donate what you can to our amazing charity partner The Kids Network - www.thekidsnetwork.org.uk

In addition to all the amazing free classes which can be found on our website www.fisonfitness.co.uk, Joe will be taking part in every class for 24 hours so please sponsor him, this may be the last time we see him. I’m not sure he know what he has let himself in for!

Joe has been working for the Kids Network in the role of mentor for the last 9 months and has loved his experience working with his mentee and here is a little bit more about the Kids Network and the work they do in their own words:

“The Kids Network supports children at a crucial time in their lives, in the lead up to and often during the transition from primary into secondary school. We do this by providing them with a volunteer mentor, a local hero from their London community.

We exist because 50% mental health issues can be diagnosed before the age of 14. Way too early there is exam pressure, social media addiction, bullying, and gang grooming.

Children are stressed, depressed, anxious and angry and it affects the disadvantaged disproportionally.

The Kids Network focuses on the individual needs of the child, building confidence and resilience and developing the tools for a positive future. Mentors are trained to deliver child-led sessions, which help them overcome the challenges and complexities of their young lives.

Our programme has a proven impact with 93% of children reporting an increase in their wellbeing.

Starting 10 am on Friday 18th March, last class being 9 am Saturday 19th March.

We will then put on a quick brunch in the park after so even if you don’t join the class come up and congratulate Joe on 24hours of classes.
