Story

The 2019 Chariots of Fire, organised by Hewitson's Charitable Trust has partnered with Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust (ACT). With your sponsorship, ACT is fundraising for a new specialist children's ambulance service, dedicated to providing the highest level of care for the regions sickest children. This service will benefit on average 1,700 patients a year.

About the charity

We want to ensure that every patient at Addenbrooke's and the Rosie hospitals experiences the highest quality of care available. We raise funds for cutting edge technology, additional specialist staff and extra comforts for patients, over and above what is possible with NHS funding alone.
