Nikolas, my nephew, is 3 years old and was recently diagnosed with leukemia. This had a huge impact on Nikolas and his family's lives, and everyone has been shocked by the news. My little nephew is a true fighter and I am positive that he will win this massive battle. I can't wait to see him again, full of life and joy as he has always been.

I am riding from London to Paris to raise money for Action Medical research which is the leading UK-wide charity saving and changing children's lives through medical research. Almost everyone has been touched in some way by their ground-breaking work, like the first polio vaccines in the UK, ultrasound in pregnancy, and the rubella vaccine. 

I am supporting Action medical research to assist in finding more groundbreaking therapies for children who are affected by childhood cancer.
