Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We will both be taking part in the St Barnabas House South Downs Trek on Saturday 8th October 2016. This is a challenging 21 mile trek which sets off from Devils Dyke, across the south downs and Sussex countryside before finishing at St Barnabas House in Durrington.

St Barnabas House is a local charity who provide specialist care services for adults with advanced progressive life-limiting illnesses both within their hospice and patients' own homes.

Andy: "St Barnabas House is an incredible hospice that not only supports their patients but the families too. My dad sadly died of cancer in 2006. Before this he spent time at St Barnabas after an operation to try and remove the cancer, that had paralyzed him from the bottom of his back downwards. The hospice couldn't do enough for everyone and both my dad and his family always knew they had someone to turn to, to ask for help and advice. My dad was extremely well looked after and made as comfortable as he possibly could be and this is why I'll be looking to raise as much money as possible to help support St Barnabas in everything they do."

Flo:' I’m doing this 21 mile trek in memory of my dear Nanny Dudley who we unfortunately lost on New Years Day this year. Having lived most of her years in Worthing, I know she’d be grateful for the money being raised going to a local charity and supporting them in the amazing work they do.'
