There were around 164,000 Cancer deaths in the UK every year - and that's around 450 deaths every day in 2014-2016 ( source cancer research UK ) . Cancer continues to be one of the worlds biggest killers. Sadly, I'm sure we all know someone who is suffering from Cancer and continues to fight so hard every day.

I never thought that anyone in my family would suffer from Cancer, I never thought I would be the person who has a relative who has Cancer. However my cousin Fletcher was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, Stage 4 Neuroblastoma in 2014 when he was 6. This was the start of a very long battle for him and everyone in my Family.

Fletcher remained so strong and continued to be the funny, cheeky boy we all knew and loved. I can't explain how hard it was so watch someone I love so much, get so ill and not be able to do anything.

I'm sure you have heard of Chestnut Tree house, and the Royal Marsden but not many people have heard of Clic Sargent. Clic Sargent fights tirelessly to provide support, in the form of helping the child to keep in touch with school work, coordinating care to happen at home, and arranging a Clic Sargent grant. They always remained contactable and were there from the start.  

I can't bring Fletch back - but I can work towards bringing more awareness to a charity that helped him, and helps so many other children so much. Thank you
