Story
Last year when I cycled London 2 Paris for Young Lives vs Cancer, to say I was overwhelmed was an understatement. I/we sometimes take our health for granted and young children certainly should be able to. When I cycled alongside parents of children who had suffered and survived and others who had heartbreakingly lost their fight against cancer. Put everything into context for me. I am lucky my children are healthy which allowed me to ask them for their support whilst I took on the challenge of cycling to Paris to raise valuable money for YLVC. I have chosen to run London Marathon 2024 for YLVC to continue raising money. Marathons are such a huge challenge the second half is when the real hard work kicks in for me. When the injuries and niggles and negative thoughts rear their heads. Karen my wonderful awesome friend was 60 this year she is definitely a little bit crazy and wanted to do a triathlon for her 60th. Karen has kindly offered to donate her fundraising to this worthwhile cause. I'm calling it the Chuck it in the 60th bucket challenge. Take life and run with it.
