Thank you all again for the donations...I'll keep this page open till the end of August for those who wanted to wait to make sure I could do it!!!

Hi, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  Thank you, thank you, thank you to everybody who has donated so far! (those I know and those I don't!)

The money coming in has been amazing!  I set the original target at £500 and never expected to get over £1000 - it's brilliant!  Just two and bit hours now before the event, weather perfect, fingers crossed!!!  Hopefully I'll be back later to tell the tale and put on the pictures as evidence!

What am I doing?
This year I've decided to brave it and take part in the South Coast triathlon in Seaford for the first (and probably only) time!  I've started training for it which is "patchy" but progressing + the bike is serviced and ready to go.  The event consists of 750m swim (in the sea) followed by 20km bike ride and finishing with a 5km run.  I then imagine collapsing in a heap!

All the money I raise from this page will be donated to the Brighton Greyhound Trust.  Up to a certain amount will then be matched by L&G and go to our interanlly supported charity - Impetus (Brighton and Hove based charity which provides direct support services to local people experiencing disability and/or disadvantage).

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So help me out / keep me going - please dig deep and donate now.
