On Thursday 22^nd December 2022, the Flex-R team will be partaking in a charity walk to raise awareness and support to Cancer Research.

8-10 members of staff of Flex-R will be hiking up ‘Kinder Scout’ in the Peak District in what will be a tough effort in the cold and wintery conditions.

Over the past few months, our Flex-R colleague and friend Tim Owen, who works as the Business Development Manager in the South West, was diagnosed with Cancer at the end of July. This was a shock to everyone and shows how cancer can have a huge effect on someone’s life in such a short period of time.

With the magnificent help of NHS specialists and staff, Tim is still on the long road to recovery. His journey will no doubt have further ups and downs in the coming weeks, months and years and Flex-R will continue to support our colleague throughout.

Flex-R would like to raise money for Cancer Research, as money that has been donated to this charity in the past has helped fight cancer with research and advancement in equipment and medicine which has no doubt helped Tim in his battle with this horrible disease.

We hit our initial target of £1000 in 9 days which is fantastic, so we now have a new target to look to smash!!
