Flibbles Half Marrow-thon · 10 October 2020

We uses laughter and play to deliver emotional first aid to children when they need it most. Our playful performances create safe, joyful spaces which offer immediate solace, providing a supportive environment for thousands of children in some of the most challenging places on earth.

Story

Hi all

We are John and Marie Prebble and Shaun Flint aka the Flibbles and we are running a half marathon (or marrow-thon as we like to call it) on 10 October 2020. We’ll start from Marie’s sheep farm near Folkestone and take in some lovely local sights (and hills!)

We are doing this as part of the  brilliant Clowns Without Borders’ 100-mile challenge, which sees many supporters covering 100 miles in various ways between 11 Sept - 11 Oct - collectively raising funds and covering the distance between the UK and Syria. (We’ll be including our weekly training runs in our distance).

Thank you so much for any support you can give. This is such a difficult time for refugees and it is more important than ever that we keep finding ways to bring light and laughter to some of the most vulnerable children in the world today. We cannot do without their smiles.

Check out Clowns without Borders’ website to find out more about their wonderful work. https://www.clownswithoutborders.org.uk

With lots of love and big red noses,

John, Marie and Shaun
