RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

Alan Forrester, Flint Lifeboat Operations Manager is on a mission to help raise money for the RNLI which will help save lives at sea. Alan will be completing an 874mile static bike ride from John O’Groats to Land’s End in his front garden.

Please keep an eye out on Flint Lifeboats social media pages for updates.

Our fundraising events have been cancelled. Our income is falling. Yet our volunteer crew are still on call 24/7. Your generosity can make sure we’re ready - now and in the future. Our volunteers still need crew kit and fuel to launch their lifeboats. Our fleet of lifesaving craft and the buildings that house them still need to be maintained and repaired. As people begin to move freely again, they will flock to the coast. We’ll be facing a summer storm. But your support and kindness can power us through it.

Please make a donation today. It will make a huge difference to our lifesavers - and the people we rescue.
