This June, the indomitable Charlotte Bourne and myself are taking on the challenge of swimming the equivalent of the English channel, just over 21miles, or 33.8km. 

To give a little context, 21 miles is about 5 times longer than the Las Vegas strip, the length of the island of Aruba :)

While we would love to do the real thing, given pesky pandemics we are making do by swimming in the local Hampstead heath ponds accompanied by cheering ducks and local swimming pools.

We are doing this to help raise some much needed funds for Kids in Need, a North London charity which helps terminally ill children get a bit of joy back during trying times.
