Oxford to Cambridge charity cycle ride · 6 May 2017

On 6 May, the Dean of Pembroke College Cambridge and thirty students will be cycling from Cambridge to Oxford to raise money for the Jo Cox PhD studentship in Refugee and Migration Studies.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Last year I took part in a Charity bike ride to help raise money for a studentship for a Syrian refugee at the University of Cambridge. That was a fabulous cause to ride a bike for.

After raising a fantastic amount of money last year, riding for 85 miles in (just) 6h30, sweating and suffering so much my body was malfunctioning for months afterward, I promised myself to NEVER do it again.

Well... I apparently lied and I am the first one to be surprised about putting my name down again... (Damn you the Brits and your charity fundraisers!!!).

This year, with the Dean of Pembroke and 29 other fellow Pembroke students, we are raising money for the Jo Cox PhD studentship in Refugee and Migration Studies. Please fell free to donate as much or as little as you can afford. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks so much for your help.

Much love and appreciation,
Flo
