Running for the phenomenal team at Sue Ryder #ShineOn!

London Marathon 2019 · 28 April 2019 ·
As many of you know, the last few months have been the most challenging of times for our family. However, what has shined through, is the support of our friends and family members. We cannot thank everyone enough for all they have done.
We have also been blessed to be supported by the Sue Ryder Team in Nettlebed - who have supported our family in a multitude of ways. They have been with us every step of the way and for that we are truly grateful.
Every member of the team has been amazing - putting our family first and always providing what we need, when it's needed. The care they give is truly phenomenal - having access to such an inspirational charity as Sue Ryder, is a blessing. The work they do must be supported and celebrated.
So, even though it is short notice, I agreed to run the London Marathon - I couldn't say no!
I have only run the London Marathon one time before - the same year I became a headteacher. This year it really means something - there is a purpose behind it. I want to show everyone at Sue Ryder just how much their support means to my family. I am running it for everyone who works at Sue Ryder - thank you for the care, compassion and inspiration you provide.
Let the training commence! I will try to provide updates as often as I can!
