Cyrenians has been at the forefront of homelessness support for over 50 years; delivering sustainable solutions for the causes and consequences of homelessness. Nearly one in ten people in Scotland go without food, or worry about being able to feed themselves. This September, I am helping Cyrenians to give more people access to 'something to eat, and someone to eat with', by hosting a Big Breakfast Fundraiser. The money raised will help them tackle food poverty, but also some of the other major causes and consequences of homelessness. The Cyrenians Good Food projects support people through access to food, which supports improving their health and wellbeing, and through developing skills and confidence around cooking. This empowers them to move towards a more settled lifestyle, and further from the risk of homelessness. By donating to my fundraiser you will be helping to support these projects.
