I’ve written a children’s bedtime story, Flo the (Friendly!) Toe Monster, while furloughed and at a loose end.

As December is the time for giving, I’m printing off copies of the story in a little illustrated booklet, which is available to anyone in return for a donation to the Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity to support all the good work that they do. 

The booklet is A5 sized and the story is 8 page long, approximately a 10-minute read at bedtime. The story is suitable for anyone who likes bedtime stories, in the region of 4 – 10 years old… who has toes! As the story is all about toes.

Please see the gallery for a short blurb and the first page to give you an idea of what’s to come. I haven’t written a bedtime story before, but I hope it’ll raise a few smiles this Christmastime along with some much needed cash for the charity. 

You don’t have to be a Sheffielder to order a booklet and support our local children’s hospital. I’ll be delivering booklets around Sheffield postcodes during December and I’m happy to send booklets further afield in the post.

NB. 100% of the profit from the sale of these storybooks, after print costs are covered, will be going straight to The Children's Hospital Charity.
