To support and raise awareness of the fantastic work Stroke Association do, I am making and selling purple flower badges to support their annual fundraising month - Make May Purple. The suggested donation for a flower is £3 (though please donate more if you can).

At the beginning of 2016 my Dad had two strokes. He was 58 when it happened; fit and healthy, eating well and exercising regularly. The news was devastating to our family, but with support from the NHS, community team and Stroke Association Dad is making an excellent recovery. In those early days Stroke Association's website was a huge comfort to us and provided much needed information on how we could support Dad. It still provides a support to us as his recovery continues.

Once you've donated I'll drop you an email to confirm your address and send out your flower. Please wear it and tell people all about Stroke Association during the month of May and beyond. Awareness and quick action is the best way to keep our loved ones safe and ensure the best possible recovery.
