Story

Ka-Zam! You have reached the super page for Alix's amazing fundraising adventure! Congratulations for making it this far...

I have decided (or been bullied into it, hard to tell) to take off my kitten heels and replace them with a pair of trainers in order to run 10K through London. I shall battle the storm clouds, the crowds of tourists and the lure of Starbucks in order to raise some pennies for a very good cause. Fair enough, it's not a marathon, but let's face it who ever thought I would HAVE a pair of trainers, let alone remember how to tie them up ;o)

All support welcome. I know loads of you peeps are skint, and that's fair enough. But think of the upside: for every quid you donate, Gordon Brown (or his soon-to-be-appointed replacement) will have to cough up another 28p. Mwah hahaha! And THIS is how we rebalance the Universe, people!

So, whether you show your support in the form of pounds, pennies or pom-poms at the finish line, I urge you to get involved. It's your chance to be a Superhero!

And now for the official bit: Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: SOS Children's Villages will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support, from She-Ra (aka Alix)
