Unfortunately, half of all people born after 1960 will be diagnosed with some form of cancer during their lifetime. Macmillan is working hard to provide vital support to improve the lives of those affected by cancer, while inspiring others to do the same. Macmillan has reached out to millions, as one of our Directors knows only too well, as she very sadly lost her father after a rapid and courageous battle with bone cancer in 2015, whilst Macmillan were supporting the family.

At Focused we strongly believe more research and development into cancer’s causes and treatments are massively beneficial to each and every one of us. Unlike more common cancers which are mainly treatable now, bone cancer remains very difficult to treat and in most cases is terminal. It is for this reason Macmillan Cancer is our charity of choice – and our fundraising will go towards the fight to find a cure for bone cancer.

Our target is to raise £5,000. To do this we are organising and taking part in a range of fundraising activities, including our director Jamie having his hair bleached blonde, a 50 mile bike ride, sponsored run, and a range of other activities which will see the team get fit and lose weight as well as supporting an amazing cause!
