"The World's first Waszp English Channel crossing"

The 'Foil For Life Challenge by Lemer Pax' has been created in light of COVID-19. The NHS in the UK and the APHP in France has been essential during this pandemic so we would like to raise as much money for them as possible and help to change lives. This just giving page is specifically  for the NHS where as there is a link on www.foilforlife.com for APHP, to support our French sailors.

The challenge is to sail across the English Channel in August 2020. It is 103 miles from Lymington (UK) to Le Havre (France) and we will be going in 6 boats: 3 British, 3 French. The six sailors are Hattie Rogers (GBR), Edward Higson (GBR), William Heathcote (GBR), Pierre Leboucher (FRA), Corentin Horeau (FRA) and Mael Garnier (FRA).

The sailing community has had an unprecedented summer of no sailing events and minimal training. We felt that we should use this time positively as a team and try to make a difference.
